Just hibernating. I don't and haven't had the facilities to make art. it's very sad. I've been trying to feed my hunger for creation by taking a lot of photos. I have a large sum of photos of my hibiscus bush from this past summer but i thought I might wait until it was more spring like to torment everyone with those. I miss art. I also work two jobs and hardly have time to sit still! being out of college sucks. a lot. I've be avidly watching the rest of you though and hope to make a triumphant return sometime ... but for now ... i photo.

here are the individual descriptions of each set. I hope this helps everything make a bit more sense:D In Jennifer's Set, I decided to showcase her love of China. To do this I used the koi fish as well as the characters "Zhong Guo" which stands for China. Her flaw was caring too much about other people's opinions. After learning her flaw I constructed the bracelet with mouths and ears to show the transfer of information. I also tied in the Chinese symbol for "happiness" not only to anchor it in with the other two pieces but also to symbolize a hidden false sense of happiness she was feeling in fulfilling others opinions on what she should be

Here is my statement for my senior thesis:D I'll go thru and post the individual paragraphs for each set next:D For my senior thesis, I have combined my interest in the way I perceive people with my interest in jewelry and lockets. I find myself noticing how people have their own aesthetics whether they are aware of them or not, as demonstrated by clothing choices. Based on this observation, I've designed three sets of jewelry consisting of necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets for three people who are very close to me; my two sisters and my best friend, along with a set that represents me.
